One of my favorite way to catch river walleyes is trolling crankbaits. The problum this time of year is all that floating grass. I'm not sure what it's called but if you have fished the river you know what I'm talking about. I've found that by adding a split ring about 8'-10' up from my crankbait has helped alleviate this problum. Just wondering how others deal with grassy situation?

Good Fishing!
