motorized decoys

Are those shakers with wings considered motorized decoys, and when are they allowed?

not sure but, I'm assuming that they are beacause the wings are above the water. and you won't beable to use them if that is the case.

Page 16 in the waterfowl supplement states that the law does not include "shaker" style decoys. smile.gif

This law for the first week or whatever is the biggest joke ive ever seen.. cant use a spinner on public land- well EVERY pond is public land, i can land a helicopter in any pond i want as long as i dont set foot on shore. The game warden told me the way around it is to put the post in the mud on the edge of the shore and its 100% legal, but even on your private ponds, if its in the water you'll be gettin a ticket!

i think it is a stupid rule that you can use the spinner wing duck on private land anytime but you cant use it on public land. since when are ducks private property arent the ducks for everyone.
