Kinni Reports?

I realize the river is busy with pleasure boaters but is there any fishing reports on the Croix, Prescott to Kinni section. Hows is the water level?

I was at the Prescott launch today. You had to literally back into the water with your truck to get the boat launched. They have planks to get to the docks from the shore. There were lots of boats everywhere. Didn't fish so can't say how the bite was.

The current with the high water has been very fast in the kinni and prescott areas. Small walleyes with a occasional keeper walleyes has been pretty much the way it has been going. When the water starts dropping the prescott area will start getting hot. The mayfly hatch has been going on for a week on the mississippi and the croix will be soon after. Look for walleyes on the main river where deep water curves in close to the shores. Nightcrawlers seem to be doing the best. Early in morn or later in the evenings.
