walleyes/sauger

Walleyes and Saugers on the MN side right on or just off the point - you'll see the houses. Crappies on the WI side just across. You'll see guys fishing there. Some have good luck with Saugers between the crappie hols and the WI shoreline. Best fishing is always dawn/dusk. Sometimes it's hit or miss. Nice fish when you get them too. I think I'll be out Sunday.

Get your bait at Brothers bait in Stillwater. They are a good source of info. The access (walk on) is right at the park in Bayport. Later - maybe even now, they drive on just a little further downstream.

I will be heading out in the Bayport area this weekend. Any suggestions on where I might find saugers and walleyes? I've heard you won't find crappies in the same areas. Are the crappies in the deepwater basins? Where is a good access?
