fall saugers/ walleyes

I have found pretty good success in the Kinni Narrows and Prescott Bridge areas for 'eyes in late fall but would like to broaden my horizons. What are some other areas that produce equally or better in the fall? Also, when does this fall bite usually heat up? We tend to wait until October, but am wondering if we're missing out on prime action in Sept.
