need help on ice fishing on kab

Well with the state fair here it won't be long before I start thinking about where to go ice fishing this year. I have fished kab many times in the summer but never in the winter. When I started fishing kab almost none of the resorts had ice houses to rent. I know this is changing and would like to plan a 3 night 2 day fishing trip this winter on kab. How is the fishing in the winter and where is a good place to stay ?
I hear very little info on kab in the winter. Any help would be great.

I know Sandy Point rents houses too. Ash-Ka-Nam and the Frontier on the Ash River are also open during the winter, but I am not sure if they rent houses.
