Bass on the chain

Bass fishing seems to be pretty consistent yet. The higher water might draw them back to the shallows. And there is always the old standby--fish the cabbage...

PS. Wednesday night league is on the chain...try it out...they launch @5:30 from Rotary beach. If you don't want to fish it...stop back at 9 for the weigh in...always a good crowd and good time...and good chance to see some nice fish!

I fished the chain last Saturday and had a pretty good time. I stayed in the shallows and caught a lot of smaller fish, mostly on spinnerbaits. Also tried some slow plastics in the lilly pads towards Arrowwood resort and had a blast watching them come up through the pads. I might be back out there this weekend so don't catch 'em all!!

I was out earlier in the season caught some nice bass on Darling in the lily pads on a white buzz bait
