Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Well I just came off the lake. Me and MRS. TOE fished for two days and it was nothing short of spectacular. We caught 100 + fish and they were agressive! The females were spawned out and the males were sitting on the beds. The water temp is at the point that they have to drop the roe now or not at all! Well thankfully they are dropping them!

So the bottom line is get here now!!! 4-6 ft of water float your jig 24 inches down and use a bright color to get thier attention! Keep your jig moving. A Wavebuster bobber works almost too good for that.

West Wind and Hudec's has docking facilities if you get thirsty!!!

Im still trying to find kelly, I last heard that he started to bait bear and found a really good looking one!!!

I wore out the JOHNNY CASH C.D. so if your heading this way bring one with you!!! smile.gif

Hey Ninetoe, I totally agree with you. Crappies are biting like crazy. This weekend on Friday night and saturday morning there was no wind and the fishing was Awesome. Get up there now!!! 3-8 feet.
Good luck everyone. Northerns are biting as well. Spoons and Bucktails are working for me!

we fished sunday and had an awesome time
like expected. the afternoon went nuts for
us in roughly 5' of water. out of the 2 limits we kept their were 5 with eggs in them still and ready to go. url is always the best time! snakes were biting with our biggest landed at 39". walleyes were plentiful and we did a little sheep farming out there also. thumper spins near the bottom on a slow retrieve whacked em i think we caught about 60 or 70 sunday afternoon just east of hudec's. thanks url.

We also had a great time on Saturday on the lake, found a nice lil spot (pulled out of Hudec's landing and went left~away from the crowds) and had some great crappie action smile.gif Just on the edge of 6 feet of water, bobber fishing 3 feet down, jigs and minnows..drop it in the water and *poof* there they were. Almost all of them still had the eggs in them.

I just purchased the Humminbird Autochart Pro to use wth my Humminbird 999. After going through the 'installation guide' and the 'get started guide' that's included in the Autochart PC program, I can't find what I need to do to get this on my model Humminbird. Anyone have experience? Thanks, Paul

Did well this morning on big bay with gold spinners. 24-26 feet off the edge of a reef. Decided since they were biting we'd try the west end to see if we could catch some big fish. Put up a big zero out there. Guess they behave a bit different from end to end.  On a small reef out west had a guy pull up on us, throw a marker right on the fish and camp out right there. Kind of tough to fish spinners when someone does that. What is the etiquette on this lake when someone does that? Just fish where you want even if you run right up on them or in between them and the marker? I see the thousand dollar  depthfinder in the back of the boat, just mark a waypoint and keep the marker in the boat man. Really grinds my gears. Whoops...sorry for the rant   Never had that happen on the east end though

Coming up next weekend to pull up the docks for the last time. Yup, my brother-in-laws folks sold their place on Frazer Bay. They owned the beautiful place just west of the public boat landing. They are in their 80's and are going to stay put at their place on Arizona. Been coming up for 20 years and now I won't have a free place to vacation at. Going to have to do some surfing for rentals I guess. Anyways, how has the walleye fishing been? Guess the weather will be quite a bit cooler next week.  Thanks for all the help over the years!
