Just wanted to mention that KARE 11 here in the Twin Cites replayed a Minnesota Bound show with Ron Schara of the URL crappies. I believe this was a repeat because they were out on the open water in boats. They talked about the hot crappie action and showed the monster slabs that come from the lake. They also talked about how the walleye population was depleted due to inadvertent over harvesting by the reservation. They mentioned that Hudec's resort was the only one open since the walleye boom was done, from everything that I have read here on the forum that would be false, correct? Anyways, this little bit of t.v. airtime should bring in people for the spring bite, probably not to the magnitude of the ice fishing season, but you never know. There was no mention of the URL Triangle or did this phenomenon only happen this winter?

I believe that the show was filmed 2 years ago. The day Donnie H. and I spent the afternoon deciding who was going to take him fishing while we sat at West Wind. We ended up trying to play golf in the parking lot. That darn ball moved out of the way everytime we swung. Another of those triangle things. The URL Triangle has been happening for a number of years but before the crappie boom it was kept quite and didn't have a name until "jigglestick" brought it to the generals public's attention
Hudec's, Dad and the Minnow Station and the Post Office were all that were left open.
