the last 2 years have been the best smelt runs since the 1970's. I'll be out next weekend dipping the Lester or Dragging a seine on Park Point.

This is Uniform Kilo Echo Sierra

Good Luck

Out.

hey tubejig, good to here you have had some luck on those little silver ones,i havent done that on the north shore for a while, when we would go we didnt do to well 5 gallon pail maybe at the best.i guess i am spoiled though after seeing tons at 1 time on the boats it takes a lot these days. not many people get to see them kinds of #'s we did on the south shore by ashland we had the big pond nets out and would get 10 tons out of 1 net at a time on a good night, but hey it's all about having fun those days were a lot of work but i miss it. i was just wondering how the comeback of the lake trout and the decreased stocking of the king's has affectted the smelt are they on the rise or kinda about the same? good talking with you, later bruce grin.gif
