Well I hit OtterTail on Sunday for the last day of walleye fishing. Fishing was alright. The walleyes in this lake has some of the wierdest patterns I've ever seen. We were fishing in the shallows for perch in 8 feet of water at 1:30 in the afternoon and ended up catching 3 eater-walleyes in 1/2 hour, while also breaking off 3 others. The perch were finicky. We only got 7 keepers that were around 9.5 in each.
During the summer I have caught many walleyes in that shallow of water in 90 degree weather in the middle of the day also. Wierd!
