well on rush lake you can always catch northerns trolling anything from a shad rap to a daredevil or live bait you can catch them anywhere from 4-18ft. today i went out and in 2 hours of trolling shad raps i caught 25 little slimers. i'm not sure where the walleyes will be at in july though

Northern is what the lake is known for. Toss anything at them, Rush is one of the best Northern lakes in the area.

Walleye, as well as Largemouth bass, rock bass, and perch are abundant.

Its been kinda strange on Rush for me the last few weeks. Two weeks ago nothing but northerns. They hit everything for a while couldnt catch anything else that day.

The next week different story. Walleyes perch, rock bass and 1 bullhead(my first ever on Rush). Not a single northern.
Eyes for me came off the point in the north center part of the lake and the large sunkin island in the center of the lake. On the isle there is a tip on the south end and got some action on the east side of the tip at about 20ft with lindys.

What kind of water temps are you seeing on Rush now? Heading up tomorrow for the week.
