What's the water temperature running now on Otter Tail and Battle Lakes? I see it's been cold again the last couple days. We'll be coming up and staying on Clitherall on Friday. Where's the hot bite on the area lakes for Walleyes and Crappies? Baits? Techniques?

Lots of male crappies and bluegills being caught right now, the big females have dropped away from the shallow stuff. Water temps are running from mid to upper 60's on most area lakes. Lindy rigs and shiners were catching fish for me but its time to be carrying leeches and crawlers along too. If they turn off on the minnows run a leech or worm through them, might turn another fish or two. Good luck and have fun!!! Paul
