crappies

Anyone have knowledge of locating crappies on Rush lake and the ability to catch them consistently? Information would be greatly appreciated(especially by my wife).

Right now they are in the reeds. Tough to fish in the wind. 16-20ft cane poles with 10 lb. line and slip bobber have worked the best. Find the deepest reeds but the denser the better and drop a 16th oz. yellow jig and minnow straight down with the cane pole. Less tangles this way. Try a new spot if they not there. Sunny, stable weather is better.
