Pokegama Lake Trout

Anyone fish for lakers on Pokegama in the winter? Have my house out near the islands and see them swim through every now and then. Thinking of giving it a try this weekend and any advise would be appreciared.

Pretty slim pickin's out there. Have done it quite a few times but haven't hooked many. They seem to like 4" white tube jigs shot up with some scent. Also try rip-jigging Heddon Sonars. Have tried tip-ups with smelt or ciscoes without any success. Good northern action though. Best action seems to come off of steep breaks in early a.m. Your probably better off going to a good trout lake though. Have fished for days in the summer before I caught one. Good luck.
