That dam is way too close to a university to use the word "discharge" in any sentence referring to it.

I've been using the river level information on the NOAA site.  The Fort Ripley gauge is the next one up river from me so I get a little advanced warning of what to expect.  The level has been dropping steadily since the weekend and looking better for fishing every day.

Wanderer, if want good fishing this weekend go try below the dam in LF. I know many people that have been down there sucker fishing and all they catch are eater eyes (15 inch or so). This is all from shore in maple island park.

Always fish to catch at the dam.  The whole reservoir south is good this time of year.

Levels at the LF Dam have been dropping all week.

Wow it's really high now! How do you find the bass in all that high muddy water? All I found yesterday was northerns. I had a really big one following yesterday and pulled my lure out just in time.

It may be challenging for sure.  After seeing the flow the laat week in LF, i will forego this weekend and spend a day with bow in hand instead.  Fish are still there, i would venture to guess a guy would find them behind deep current breaks.

Yah, she's a bit higher than I like.  Crested today from what I can tell.  But with so much rain in the forecast after tomorrow I'm betting she goes up even more next week.

Crazy high for this time of yr.... lots of wood and garbage floating. On a positive note, fish are biting pretty good
