Pelican Lake- Breezy PNT. Need advice on fish house rentals.

Recommended Posts

Good Evening

A group of 6 is going to be at Breezy Point, Pelican Lake in Brainard in a few weekends. We are all experienced fishermen, however, not familiar with this particular lake or local lakes of the area.  We usually all bring our own fishing equipment, sleds, houses, augers, rods, ect. We are trying to lighten the load and possibly just rent a house and bring the little items.
Breezy lists a few rental services. Anyone suggest which one to use?
Also, any tips on the lake? Places to watch out for? What is abundant in the lake? Would we be better off just bringing all our own gear and hopping around?
I appreciate the help.

Nate

I would go with Matt he should be on walleye... There are crappie to be had too

Watch out for pressure ridges I have not been there since Christmas so can't say if they are bad this year or not or where they are

Running tipuos for the afternoon can be really fun I do really well on northern and there are some big ones in there

Second that on Traxx.  I was up last weekend and there was a nice sized pressure ridge coming off Lincoln's point, it was growing throughout the weekend.  Can't say what it's like now but that would be the only spot I know of to be cautious around.
