Finding good schools in 26 to 28 feet   1/4 oz jig and fathead minnow.  Had a big fish fry last night and taking a few home.

What depths are the crappies being caught in?  I was on bowstring 10 yrs ago and we fished in 18 fow and did pretty good.  Just wanted to know if this has been the same or the crappies have moved around a bit.  I will be in the area dec 28-dec31 and would like to get a few slabs.  Any info would be much appreciated!   Thanks
