Clearwater help

Recommended Posts

Hey guys:

I'm just wondering with all the pressure Clearwater gets if it's still worth going to. My primary target is catch and release pike. It seems the tournaments never end there. What do you think?

It is a big enough lake to handle the pressure it gets in my opinion. Plenty of pike in the lake too.

I have put my guide clients on lots of pike this summer. So far largest bass is 21"- 5lbs  Pike 36" Approx. 8-9lbs, Walleye is 23 inches 3lbs. The walleyes will get better as the water cools. Time to start jigging, everything you got. I'm even started using my crankbaits.

Thanks Workin, Bart and especially Jim for the replies. My family really enjoys fishing on Clearwater lake.
