Going to be heading up to lida for annual summer trip. Was wondering how the bite has been? I know past few years crappie bite has been very good. Any walleye?

I thought I heard a rumor a few weeks back that the eyes and bass have been picking up.  I haven't been on the lake in years but it was a rumor.  Hopefully you were able to get into something out there and have fun.  I was stuck at work...day 8 straight here!

Walleyes are biting but you will be hard pressed to find a legal fish to keep.

Was out on Lida this last Friday afternoon with my 11 y.o.  What a beautiful fall day to be on the water!!  That being said, we only caught a couple of pike and a smallie.  Talked to a few other boats and they didn't have any eyes either.....  We tried Lindy's with shiners (maybe a little early??) and cranks, but no luck.  At least it was a great day to be fishin' rather than working!
