Little Boy/Wabedo

I haven't been able to get out much this season yet. Only an hour or so. Any word on what you're seeing?

Been fishing shallow (2-5 FOW) looking for eater-sized pike, but boating mostly bass (large mouth). Not complaining tho.

I know when you're NOT fishing for pike, you can't keep them off the line, but anybody have any Wabedo pike insights?

That is a great bass!  Any idea on length/weight?  We are on Little Boy and things have been slow.  I can't catch largemouth for the life of me on LB.  On Wabedo we find the eater Northerns just where your picture seems to be.  3-7 ft of water.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

@NC2, Thanks for the reply. It was about 4 pounds. Caught on a shallow-running crank bait right up against the pencil reeds.

My daughter and granddaughter's boyfriend's have been chasing muskies on the weed edges and catch quite a few pike. The next door  neighbor does the same.

Sounds like people are getting out on area lakes. Any reports yet?

Seems dang slow lately. Had to search and skip from spot to spot to get enough sunnies for a small fish fry. Fish we're deeper than normal. After we got a little chop the smallies cooperate little,

Sorry for the absence....

Our daughter has been fighting cancer so I missed most if the season so far including the better bite. 

I have been out a couple of times the past week or so. Sunnies we're slow and  off the weed edges. Smallmouth were more cooperative on leeches when we had some chop around rocks.
