Wondering who is a good bait store around lake minnewaska? I need bait and would like some information on minnawaska. Unless someone else would like to share some information on location and depth to fish walleye.

Fetter's Bait on Highway 28 east of Glenwood has the best bait in the area. Open 24 hours.

Fish On Bait & Tackle right in Glenwood is close, and very good. If Kyle is there, he's got a wealth of knowledge and is willing to point you in the right direction. He's also typically got shiners and good quality fatheads. I wish he would keep the help more knowledgeable for the times he's not around - but try during the day and you may get lucky and he'll be there.

If it's after-hours or overnight- I'll 2nd the Fetter's- convenient to be able to go in and help yourself (24 hours), works on the honor system. I always like to drop a few extra bucks in for the convenience, and to hopefully cover any cheap a-holes to underpay (or don't at all) and take advantage of the trust from an accommodating business.

I would agree with Fish on depending on who is in the shop for info but I have gotten very good bait.
