Trout Lake Ice Fishing

Going to be in the area in early December.  Is Trout worth checking out?  Would love to snag a couple C&R Walleyes while in the neighborhood.  Any other suggestions are appreciated.  Thanks

Not even sure if it's totally frozen yet. Pretty deep so it freezes late.

I saw this far too late to be of any use, but I can tell you that Trout most definitely was NOT frozen over in early December. In fact the bay we're close to on the north end just froze over this week!
