During this last week I had some time to spend doing a little shore fishing. Our area is blessed with plenty of options for those who don't have, or feel like using a boat. The Mississippi and its backwaters  provides multi species action for those willing to do a little exploring.

I honestly think that one is bigger than any I've personally ever caught in the river.  My spot has numbers, but ten of them wouldn't add up to the weight of that beauty.
