Why? He is old and way beyond his prime. People may say he is a leader in the locker room but I have heard many stories from reliable sources this wasnt always the case when in MN. last time. Whats everyones thoughts?

To sell tickets according to 1 of the reporters on WCCO.Her husband snapped up some for $10 a week ago & by the end of the day yesterday they were already a hot commodity.I think he'll retire at the end of the season too.Front office maybe & part owner eventually. He's a longtime bud of Saunders & Taylor's 2c

This will help ticket sales. He has also expressed interest in being part of the front office or owning the team. I don't think he will play more then one more season on the court.

From a newscast I watched ticket sales were up 780% yesterday. The most tickets sold in a single day for 10 years. Plus we got an old dog with a intense attitude to show the young pups what needs to be done.

Good move KG played with attitude and love for the sport. Hopefully he can mentor the young players and get them to show this same desire. I agree more than likely here as a leader and mentor in the locker room and court rather as a player his best years are definitely behind him. Him comeing back will definitely help fill the seats.
