Well it's been 5 years since My son and I lived in Minnesota but as we need to get our atleast yearly fix of ice fishing. We were thinking about renting a shack on Mille Lacs but now we are thinking about trying a few different lakes and hunting for fish, run and gun style. Also we are driving up from Oklahoma so yeah we would like to take a few back if we could.

I was wondering if anybody had any area lakes or tips that we could try? We have both fished plenty it's just hard to find a pattern when we can only get back up once a year. We actually switched up and did Devils Lake over this past New Years. We did well on Eyes but not 1 Perch was caught. We would probably look to target Perch and Eyes one day and then Crappies the next day. Any tips would be appreciated. I know nobody wants to give the spot on the spot, especially in public maybe general information or tips in a pm would work.
