It was usable as of 2 weekends ago, I havnt been there since. Some of the folks from lakeland general in dunvilla keep it open. I'd say call lakeland and ask, someone there will know for sure.

WOW a reply, thank you, yeah I went out of the public access on Friday, it was good then, the hill wasn't too slick, and no ice ridge, very usable if you have 4x4 but with any snow I could see access to the lake being very tough with a truck/car
