First trip to Crane

I was wondering if anyone has any insight for me. I am heading up to Crane for 2 days of fishing the first weekend in October with some coworkers. None of us have ever fished the lake. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for patterns, locations, etc. I usually lindy rig but not sure if this lake is mainly set up for jigging rocks or smaller mid lake humps. I will have the GPS to be able to find some better lake detail so if there are any tips with how or where to start would be great as I am only there for two days. I will be going with a few guys that are non fisherman, their just going to be part of the team and would love to help put them on some fish. I know if we hit it right, and fishing is good, it could really change their perception of fishing. Like I say, anything is helpful even a good lure color on the lake would be of great help. Thanks!
