I keep hearing that Mille Lacs has some great largemouth fishing. I fished out of Cove Bay and checked some reed beds and along the east shore of the bay and there was nothing that looked bassy to me. Where do guys find the largemouth in the lake? Any pointers on what landing to go out of? Is this mostly a dock deal? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I saw Denny Brauer (I think) fishing reed beds on Mille Lacs last year and hauling some pigs out. Not sure what side of the lake it was on, though.
