Lake Superior June 1, 2013

Not the best weather but at least we didn't get blown off the water. Me , Shane and Nick hoped in Randy's boat to give the Wis. side a try. We headed out a ways until we could find a change in water color. LOTS of muddy water out there right now. We trolled from around 65' to right around 80' with water temps ranging from 41 to 44. We did not really find any pattern. We would go back over areas were we got hits or fish but never got a second one to go. We ended up going 5 for 8 with 3 Coho, 1 Redfin Laker and released a 25" Steelhead. No real pattern on what plug was hot. The smelt and Chevys got a couple of hits but pink got a few as well. Sounds like tomorrow should at least be sunny and the winds should give us another full day on the water.
