I've got some family coming up for that week and they wanna fish mille lacs on that Saturday the 13th. We will be fishing during the day. I've never fished the pond much after September, so I'm assuming most guys are trolling cranks, shad raps, and larger stick baits?? I'm the mid depth 6'-15' rocks?? Does anyone bobber fish with minnows? Or jig and minnows? If so what kind of minnows work best? I'm just looking to get pointed in the right direction! So we can get on some fish. Any input will be very helpfull. Thanks!

You can bobber fish with minnows or leeches if you can still find them then. Fish will move shallow even during the day if you get some wind blowing in on shallow rock. Jumbo perch are an added bonus in the fall up shallow.

Otherwise working the deeper rock breaks during the day will often kick out fish. If not hit the deep gravel, sand or mud as there will be fish there too.
