Name of launch

What is the name of the launch quite a far ways north of willobrian? All I know is its quite a ways up from willobrian, and there's a big point stemming out from the mn side.

Or is there anything closer to where I can launch and head up to taylors falls area?

Thanks in advance

Just above WOB park you have the loghouse landing and then further up 95 you get to the Osceola landing and right before 95 hits HWY 8 you get to Franconia landing where you have a mile or so upriver run to get to Taylors falls or you can launch out of the MN or Wisc interstate parks and be right near the falls. YOu cannot traverse above the HWY 8 bridge and get to just below the dam as there is some serious current and large boulder fields to deal with. Just above the dam on both the MN and the Wisc side there are landings, with the St Croix Falls landing being the nicer of the two. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Thats great info tunrevir. I don't mind making the treck from WOB, but its a long boat ride with no wake if I remember correctly. This info helped me google up the river info for that section. WOB and above
