I live on the lake and have been out 3 times this year, last Tuesday was the most recent. Water temp was 55 degrees. I didn't try all that hard but I couldn't find any panfish in the shallows where I normally can get something to bite. The cold weather this weekend isn't going to do anything to help that.

My brother and I went out there yesterday evening and we were limited out but the wind was nasty so I didn't see too many boats out there. The fish were in the deeper about any where from 8 to 10 fow. As right now it's still cold so they usually stick out on mostly on north side of the bays or lake. Try there and you will not dispointed it.

I found crappies and perch off the big reed island right around the corner from the landing. Nothing to write home about size-wise but some action anyway. Like someone else said - in about 8-10 FoW. Boat next to me had alot more action than I did. When I switched to a jig and bobber, I got more action than on plain hook. Good luck!
