Crafty Turtles Species Thread.

I blew up the pic. Still think its white. The Lateral line is unbroken and runs all the way to the tail. The lines are not as pronounced as on a yellow. The space between the dorsal fins helps too.

much better.. i take back my yellow theory.. i'd say it's a white.. the dorsal fins on a white are separated from each other.. while on a yellow.. they are connected

Definately a White Bass. Dorsal fins and body shape show it well here. Stripes on Yellows are different too, hard to quantify - more bold I guess would be the best description I could give but that is hardly obvious until you see both side by side

SO I went out on Friday and all aside had a good day I believe I have a new love for carp fishing.

The largest of the day at 25 1/2 inches

This carp was a little over 24 inches

It was a fun day carping 5 hooked 2 landed and 3 lost flies.
