Kinda stinks that the opener sounds like its not getting moved up now- I love opening weekend on the croix cuz everyone else clears out and goes up North, Makes parking and everything else so much easier

I second that.....or when hunting season is open....I get the river all to myself.

The tranquility and pure bliss of a quiet and less crowded river....is very therapeutic.
