I was out just before New Year's in the northwest area of the lake near the private beach. We were in 15' with 8' about 20 yards to the east of us. We caught a bunch of little perch, 2 sunnies and 2 walleyes. There has been quite a few houses out there but not the usual bunch in front of the access.

I still don't think the ice is too even out there. We had a snowmobiler come out near us when we were out so I got out of my portable and had my ice picks ready to get myself out of the water if we went through. This was just one day after a sailboarder went through out there so I was a little nervous.

Ice was about 8-9 inches on monday where we went. Didn't catch a thing though. Will try again soon, it was nice to get out a bit at least.
