Looking to make a trip to the Rainy in the middle of October. Looking for some ideas for an inexpensive place for 2 guys to stay.......really just looking for a place to rest your head at night.

Baudette motel would be a good place to call. I'd also give a call to a few of the resorts around the area, as they are very slow that time of yr and you could probably get a good deal on a small room at a place like wigwam

Schusters and Walleye Retreat are offering a $25/night/person special. Both were booked for the 10/14 & 10/15 weekend.

Give Ryan a call over at Bayview Lodge. It's right on the Rainy and they offer clean quiet accomodations and you won't find nicer people.
