tonka bass bite

I was out yesterday in the rain and overcast. The bass were out on the humps, points and flats. Any where there was a black and white striped shallow water marker and some weeds, there were bass. The weeds aren't really thick yet so we were able to work the flats pretty easily using chartruese/green plastic worms rigged on a jig or texas rigged. We also got some on shallow running cranks (fatraps, shadraps, etc.) Spinnerbaits only caught northerns. Saw a bunch of fish caught all around us, too and as far as I could tell, everyone was fishing plastics and cranks.
