Who's gonna be the State hockey champs this year? I'd have to say the Winnipeg Rams I mean Roseau rams. As long as the north of 2 schools win I don't care.

You're probably right, but they gotta get past my SPUDS first!!

Roseau was impressive with the 8-0 win to get to the section final today. Moorhead beat Brainerd 4-2...

That should actually be a dandy game next week...

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
