NW Bay - 1st Week July

1 post in this topic

Hi folks! Well, this year we're hitting LaBelles the last weekend in June/first week of July. Just a couple quick questions here:

First, will there be any opportunity to find crappies, or is it too late to really get on 'em?

Second, Halfway Inlet - I know the signs are up at the entrance to Halfway, and if I'm not mistaken, it's because many crappies (and other species?) head in there to spawn? If that's the case, do the crappies stay in Halfway all summer long or do they migrate back out through Halfway, through Shelter bay and then on to the main lake/bay?

Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
