has anybody been out on lake jane near lake elmo this year if so how did you do and what were you catching??

Small panfish and 12" pike is all I've ever pulled out of there on the ice.

I fished it once. caught a couple tiny sunfish nothing to brag about...

Thing I remember about it was how hard I had to work for the sunfish, Drill holes....drop a camera down and see fish ten yards away that wouldnt come investigate my bait. I actually had to walk the ten yards drill holes on top of the fish to get them.

I was not impressed.

      I remember when I first moved to MN I went down to the dam with a buncha angleworms. Coudnt keep the smallies off. LOL

      Very weird. Those little worms in the garden do catch more than little 2-4 sunfish.

      Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.
