Snow in the OT/BL area?

3 posts in this topic

I'll be in the area this coming weekend and was wondering if it's worth pulling the sleds up. I'll be doing a lot of fishing but was hoping to put some miles on the sled Saturday afternoon if the trails are decent. Any info is appreciated!

I would call the conditions as fair. We did get a couple inches of fresh inches last week. The ditchlines are pretty good right now after that big wind - they filled in nicely.

Trails got some snow too, but there are icy spots and some dirt in a few places.

I say definately bring the sleds!

How's the snow on the lake?  Can you still get around on snowmobile or is the slush getting bad?  Thanks for any info.

I don't have an axe to grind with The Landing (and I don't honk anyone on this forum does either)- I went there a few times last summer and the food was good, they had an ample beer selection, and the service was friendly- all of those things I'm willing to pay for.   We had another couple up staying the weekend at our cabin and brought them to The Landing and had a terrific time, looking forward to making it back there again!   And more importantly, can't wait for the ice to get off the lake!!
