Just so you know, Muskie season doesn't open until June 7th, but it's always nice to up there for the opener!

Even if the musky season is closed, that time is still a great time for walleyes!

so do you guys have any tips on what to fish in the lake as far as what to bring, I spend my summers on Lake Erie, for Eyes drift rigs with a worm seem to work best down here, can i expect the same up there?

Lindy Rigs or jigs baited with minnows is the staple that time of the year, but be sure to bring a few crawlers and always bring leeches!

Planning on bringing out the new boat this weekend, I will do my best at the launch to speed up process, but hopefully some slack is cut on account it is a new boat..brand new boat.

If the weather cooperates BC and I are planning on getting out on the North Shore this weekend.   With Mcquade and Two Harbors the only options I'm sure things will be tight till the Bay opens up and the South Shore a shorter run.  Be efficient and patient at the landings.  I lot of you know this but I'll repeat, when trolling in a congested area troll with the flow.  We'll be anywhere from on top to 20" down, just have to see what happens.  Lets see how many pink sticks I can manage to lose in one day.

Definitely one you must of caught early; probably about the time I asked you if you wanted some sunscreen. Nice fish, but man did you pay the price. Good luck with your sunburn man.
