Walleye Action around Duluth?

Is anybody cathing any walleye? I know its slow this time of year but if anyone has any tips or advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks

were in the same boat dude. im soo frusterated! but i refuse to go for trout until after walleye is closed for lack of anythign better to fish for haha.

Well as long as you are fishing it is not so bad. It is fishing not catching keep at it and have fun.

You guys shouldnt be complaining. I havent even caught a walleye this winter. Only crappies northerns perch and even a largemouth, ive basically caught everything but a walleye confused.gif

Same here im catching fish, just no eyes. Getting frustrated, but hey thats fishing.

      Quite abit of new tackle, along with some different plastics options this year. Some of the new products have proven itself on soft water while doing some recon during the past few weeks, fishing first ice spots. Fine tuning "spots on the spot" can pay off big time, before fish become spooky from noise of crowds, which more times then not, makes them less willing to bite, and can make them move to other key locations nearby.
