Clearwater should be right out your back door and do the trick for you. There are some big ones in there but you can certainly be kept busy with smaller ones along the weedlines.

Actually Twin is closer to South Haven. It's 5 miles south of Annandale.

Noon hour today a skid steer on tracks was down clearing the bottom of the awesome boat ramp at Wheelers Point.  This NCOR Update features Paul Johnson from River Bends Resorts....It is "game on" all the way along the river now.

I've wondered why there are no saugers on Vermilion.  Lots of them up at lake of the woods and fun "bonus" fish to catch.  Probably an easy answer but wondering thoughts.

River is open to the Wheelers Point Boat Landing today (backhoe was working on it at noon so it is only a few minutes away).  Paul Johnson from River Bends Resorts joins me on this update.  Lots of good info here.

Good luck!  Always a fun time of year!   I just finished my last day of ice fishing this season on 19 inches of ice yesterday in Ely.  Today I drove to Maple Grove and saw three boats on the lakes on the way down.   I used to be one of those guys.
