I have not spent any time out there this winter, but I'm hoping to this weekend.

Any general ideas about how you were catching them? I've had my eye on a few spots on the lake, but I've never tried it in the winter.

Anyone have any pointers as to where to go on this lake? Never been on it but might hit it up on Thursday night. Don't need your exactly honey hole location just some general areas to try. Thanks. PM if you want or send an email to jonesbrendt54AThotmailDOTcom

I heard the DNR stocked the lake with walleyes fingers a few times and then the Cormorants landed on the lake and polished most of them off. I fished the lake for crappies last year and did manage a few on the East side streight out from the park.

New to the forum. Glad I was able to find a good forum for trout fishing in the SE area! I had probably my best year of trout fishing this year on the whitewater. Here are a few that I managed to get throughout the year. The first one was in the 16" range and the second one was about 18".

Whose road is that at the bottom of the picture? I am thinking that one of JR's roads is the one that goes off at a diagonal, the second road from the bottom of the picture. The road I am asking about seems more toward the reservation line.   Thanks.

Myr Mar is open on the northwest side. Garrison sports is too, I believe.

Fish the deeper holes and you'll find some suspended cats. They seem to be cruising around about 28-32' under the ice.
