I assume you went out there yesterday, how was the fishing. More importantly, what bait and depth were you catching the fish at?

I was out there this evening. Fishing was fairly slow but did catch a few small crappies in 24 FOW on waxies.

6 of us went out Sun. and only caught 1 12" eye on a hump that came up to 12'. We hopped around it fishing in 12-22 fow using tipups and various jigging spoons and fatheads. We do much better earlier in the year on the same spot. Maybe next time. HTB

I fished deep water south of the island earlier this year but just caught small crappies. Is the deep 28' hole up north end doing any better these days? Or the far north end in the eve?

still love my setup for bluegills but not the best when I use a size 10 jig and fishin for crappies. I might grab the clam springs and rig a rod up with the wire thats a little stiffer and see how it works. this would just be for deep fish.

Out Sunday ... Looked like a City of Trucks and Castles ... Bite was slow but managed a few Crappies / sonnies on Plastics.   we lost a nice walleye near the hole on a moon jig and crappie minnow.   Might have to go Perching in the shallows on south side of MilLacs this weekend.  Hey Moose ... what ya using for Perch on Millacs shallows 12-18 FOW?

Was out after work for a couple hours yesterday and got two walleyes to bite. The Landing is getting flooded out. Was kinda hesitant on driving out after seeing all the trucks parking on Shore and taking the long walk out. With all the black ice out there it was a little spooky but after seeing 17" to 19"of good ice  was pretty comfortable with it

I will be interested to hear of your experience.  Please let us know.    I think the anecdotal evidence was that the service and quality was not up to the premium price, although that could be old news.     "fine dining" has been a tough sell on the lake.   Several places have tried and failed that I am aware of.

Only fishing for crappies. With a baby at home only get a few hours after work to fish.
