Anybody ever use these up on the pond and what did you think?

I have used them this year. I noticed the perch love them but remember the lake is invested with small perch.

Ya, that's what i've found too. Just wondered if you had any big perch or eyes come in and hang around?

I used them for the first time with a buddy on the deep water breaks. I am convinced they attract the perch. We had a camera down and could see that the perch more 'came in waves', and didn't hold for too long. The bigger fish were seldom seen, however 4 were kept. Some of the perch were digging in the sand, I have never seen this before. We found that a smaller jig tipped with waxies that was bouncing on bottom, causing the silt to float up slightly triggered them to bite. Most fish were vertical looking strait down at our baits and as soon as you drop that thing on bottom, gulp, and set the hook.

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
