It is a great bassin lake, panfish and pike too. The lake has a few walleyes in it but I am not sure if they are easy to catch. I wouldn't beat myself up trying to find the eyes but you have plenty of action on the other species. It is a smaller lake with a good amout of weedgrowth. If you haul your own boat up you can easily trailer to Gull or Whitefish for some walleye fishing on part of your trip.

Thanks for the tips. Kid and wife love to fish so walleye not really #1 target. But thats all I normally fish for. grin.gif

I have a seasonal campsite that we moved into last year. Panfish are great, although the crappie bite wasn't that good last year. Mostly good for Bass and the occassional Pike. Tried walleye a bit but wasn't able to hook one. It's a pretty small lake but if you have a small enough boat you can get to lower cullen also. You staying at Upper Cullen Resort and Campground? It's a nice place, you'll like it.

Yeah next week looks good for getting out. Hopefully the snow totals stay on the low side but at least its gonna be the light powder variety.

Thanks guys.  So just to recap so far, Nils and KDrill require adapters, which add $30 or so, but you can use them w/out the drill plate if you want to.  How about Strikemasters do they need an adapter?     Also, just wondering if there is any legit reason to pay $100 more for the K Drill over the Nils?  Seems to me they are about the same weight (ballpark) and both cut pretty fast.     Thanks again for the info fellas!!
