3 posts in this topic

I know this has probably been beat to death but still not sure! Are quickstrike rigs legal? Plan on atrip to Red in a few weeks and want to try for some northerns. I was planning on using quick strikes but I can't seem to get a straight answer! Some say their illegal some say there legal! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

make sure it has a small spinner on it so it's an "artificial" lure. pike tamer's work well.

tengauge is correct, it must fall into the lure catagory. It must have a spinner or some form or "lure" to the rig to make it multiple hook legal.

Took my daughter fishing today. Not unusual. She's 18 and has fished with dad since she was a baby. What was unusual was her boyfriend came with us. She grew up fast. Glad it's still cool to hang with her dad. Brought home a pile of crappies to boot. All had fun.

I change mine every year. Probably could get by longer then that, but I like to do it every year.
